Welcome to AdLab Zeno.
This Privacy Policy explains how our app handles information when you use it. We value your privacy and aim to keep our data practices transparent, minimal, and compliant with Apple’s App Store guidelines.
AdLab Zeno does not require you to create an account or log in, and the core AR experience works without entering personal details.
However, some usage data and optional contact data may be collected as described below.
We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how people use AdLab Zeno so we can improve the experience. Firebase automatically processes technical and usage information such as:
Device and app information (e.g., device type, OS version, app version)
Country/region derived from network information
Anonymous identifiers created by Firebase for analytics purposes
Events related to how you move through the experience, for example:
Button click rates (e.g., “Launch,” “Check Impact”)
Tap-through at each step (e.g., Get noticed, Trend setters, emoji selection, etc.)
Drop-off points (where users leave the journey)
First-Tap Time (delay between step becoming visible and the first tap)
Time spent on each scene or step
Interaction completion (full journey vs. partial interactions)
We also log choices you make inside the simulation, such as:
Selected ad goals, audience types, and platforms
Selected emotions, visuals, calls-to-action (CTAs), and budget ranges
Whether you skip certain steps (e.g., “Skip Gender,” “Keep it Private”)
This data is used in aggregate to understand patterns, not to identify you personally.
We do not use these analytics events to track you across other apps or websites or to build advertising profiles.
Data categories (for Apple’s App Privacy):
Usage Data: product interaction, page views, taps, time in app
Diagnostics: crash data and performance data
Device Information: device type, OS version, app version
At the end of the journey, you may choose to open an external feedback form (Google Forms) to share more detailed input. Providing this data is completely optional.
Depending on the fields you choose to fill in, we may collect:
Contact information:
Email address
Your role (e.g., founder, marketer, brand manager)
Company/brand name
Feedback and research data:
Open-text qualitative feedback
Answers to research questions about your goals, target audiences, and experience
“Net Perceived Value (NPV)” – a 1–10 rating of how valuable the experience was to you
We use this information to:
Understand how helpful the experience is
Prioritize improvements and future features
Contact you if you explicitly ask us to follow up
The form is hosted by Google and stored in our Google account. Google may process this data as described in its own Privacy Policy.
You may also choose to follow a link to Calendly to book a research or feedback call. If you book a call, Calendly may collect:
Your name
Email address
Company or role (if you provide it)
Selected date and time for the meeting
We use this information solely to schedule the call, prepare for the conversation, and optionally follow up afterward. Calendly processes this data under its own privacy terms.
AdLab Zeno uses your device’s camera to render AR content.
We do not record, store, or transmit your camera feed.
AR processing happens locally on your device to the extent technically possible.
Camera access is used only to place and display AR scenes in your environment.
Users may upload images within the app. We only access the specific photos they select for upload. We do not access or scan the rest of their device photo library.
We use the data described above to:
Measure how people move through the AR experience
Understand which steps, goals, audiences, and creative choices are most frequently selected
Improve usability and reduce friction or confusion
Fix bugs and monitor app performance and crashes
Decide what to build next and how to make the product more useful
Respond to feedback and schedule calls if you ask us to
We do not:
Sell your data
Use your data for third-party advertising
Track you across other companies’ apps or websites for targeted ads
Where privacy laws such as GDPR apply, we rely on:
Legitimate interests to use aggregated analytics and diagnostics data to operate, secure, and improve the app.
Consent when you voluntarily submit information in a feedback form or book a call.
AdLab Zeno is designed for use by professionals (brands, marketers, founders, product teams) and is not directed to children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age where parental consent is required in their region. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may share data with service providers who help us operate and improve AdLab Zeno. These providers only process data on our behalf and under their own privacy policies, and must provide protections that are consistent with this Policy and Apple’s requirements.
Current third-party services include:
Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) – app analytics, usage and performance data

We do not allow these providers to use your data for their own advertising campaigns inside AdLab Zeno.
We may also disclose data if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect our rights or the safety of users.
We keep data only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
Analytics and diagnostics: retained in aggregate form for product and performance analysis, according to our Firebase/Analytics retention settings.
Feedback form responses and contact details: kept while we actively use them for research and product development, or until you ask us to delete them.
Calendly bookings and related contact details: retained for as long as needed to manage the call and any follow-up.
You can request deletion of your feedback data or contact information at any time (see Contact Us below).
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the data we control, including limiting access to internal tools and using reputable third-party providers (Google, Calendly) with industry-standard security practices.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we aim to minimize data and avoid unnecessary risk.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct inaccurate information
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict certain types of processing
You can:

Choose not to book a call

AdLab Zeno may link out to external services (for example, Google Forms, Calendly, or other websites).
This Privacy Policy applies only to the AdLab Zeno app and our own handling of data. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites or services. Please review their privacy policies before submitting information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any changes will appear on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice within the app where appropriate.
