My name is Kristina Whipple, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this school year! This will be my sixth year teaching fifth grade at Adkins Elementary School. Throughout my career, I’ve had the joy of teaching students from Kindergarten all the way to graduate school—but elementary-aged children are truly my favorite!

I’m married to my husband, Jason, and we have two sons. Caden attends Guyer High School, and Logan is preparing for his college and career journey. We live in Lantana and are active members of Rock Pointe Church in Flower Mound. We love being part of this wonderful community!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and fishing. Indoors, you’ll often find me exploring historical & scientific topics or trying new recipes in the kitchen.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Florida State University, and I hold three Master’s Degrees—in Elementary Education from the University of South Carolina, in Public Administration from the College of Charleston, and in Gifted Education from Converse College. Over the years, I’ve proudly cheered for the Conchs, Seminoles, Gamecocks, Cougars, and Valkyries. I’m honored and privileged to be an Aviator!
