ADITYA MOHAN
I am a PhD candidate in the Accounting and Management unit at Harvard Business School. I expect to graduate in 2022. In my research I focus on a) the real effects of information availability shocks on the affected market participants and b) institutional investor response to external and internal incentives.
In my job market paper I focus on how external ratings incentivize mutual fund portfolio managers to deliver higher risk adjusted returns to their investors.
In addition to the PhD, I have an MBA from Columbia Business School and an undergraduate degree in engineering from Indian Institute of Technology. I also have the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Financial Risk Manager professional certifications.
I have extensive work experience which includes a seven years stint as an asset allocation analyst at Fidelity Investments. At Fidelity I was responsible for asset allocation decisions in the global fixed income space and the single state municipal space. I have also worked as a derivatives trader trading futures and options in the German government bond markets.
