ADITI ROY
I am a Research Fellow in the Department of Health and Data Analytics at Curtin University, Previously, I was a Lecturer in Department of Economics & Public policy at the University of Adelaide, Australia. Further, I was also had a short stint at HSE University as a research fellow. I received my PhD in Economics from the University of Adelaide in 2020 with "Dean's Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence".
I am an applied economist with broad interests in development economics, gender, early childhood, labour, and economics of institutions. I am passionate about exploring new datasets. My work focuses on causality by employing large micro-level datasets and implementing advanced econometric techniques to answer policy-relevant questions.
Recently, I won a STEG CEPR individual-level research grant to study how climate change will differentially affect women’s employment.
