[2024.05.01] The ADIP lab has obtained research funding from the Hyundai Motor Company for their project titled "Prediction of Electric Vehicle Performance: Mileage, NVH, and SOH Correlation." With a budget of $92,565, the project spans from May 1st, 2024, to April 30, 2025 (12 months). Within this endeavor, the ADIP lab strives to pioneer a new deep neural network framework for SOH estimation and uncover the relationship between SOH and NVH.

[2024.05.02] ongratulations to Joonhyeok Moon for being honored with the Best Paper Award at the KSME Spring Conference (CAE and Applied Mechanics) in Jeju, Korea, 2024. This recognition is for his presentation titled "Ensembled Prediction and Heterogeneous Sensor Measurements for Automatic High-Frequency Induction Brazing," originally presented at the KSME Spring Conference 2023 in Busan, Korea. Well-deserved accolades!

[2024.05.01] The ADIP lab has secured research funding from the NRF for the project entitled "Development of Lightweight Structure Optimization Techniques and Control System Core Technologies for Rough Terrain Traversal Platforms Utilizing Lightweight Composite Material and Multiphysic Informed Reinforcement Learning." The allocated budget of $50,000 ($20,000 for the ADIP Lab) spans from May 1st, 2024, to July 31, 2024 (3 months). In the context of this initiative, the ADIP lab collaborates with the Korea Institute of Science and Technology to organize a global project to focus on the core technologies of a mobile robot for rough terrain. 

[2024.04.30] The ADIP lab has secured research funding from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety of South Korea for the project entitled "Development of Intelligent Fire Detection and Sprinkler Facility Technology Accounting for the Characteristics of Logistics Facilities." The allocated budget of $3,184,000 ($590,000 for the ADIP Lab) spans from April 1st, 2024, to December 31, 2026 (45 months). In the context of this initiative, the ADIP lab is dedicated to crafting a fire detection and extinguishing system with a groundbreaking architecture for an object detection neural network. This innovative system is anticipated to secure the safety and reliability of logistics facilities.

[2024.04.22] The ADIP lab has successfully secured research funding from the National Fire Agency for the project entitled "Fire Hazard Analysis and Fire Safety Standards Development for Transportation and Storage Stage of Reuse Battery." With a budget of $7,100,000 ($800,000 for the ADIP Lab) allocated for the period from April 1, 2024, to December 31, 2027, the ADIP lab is focused on developing a multiphysics framework for lithium-ion battery modules and packs. This innovative research grant is expected to secure the fire safety and reliability of reuse batteries.

[2024.03.01] The ADIP lab has successfully secured research funding from Hyundai Motor Company for the project entitled "Spot-To-X: Optimization framework of UWB anchor." With a budget of $85,000 allocated for the period from March 1, 2024, to November 30, 2024, the ADIP laboratory is focused on developing an optimization framework for UWB anchors aimed at detecting dynamic objects in blind spots. This innovative cognition system with UWB sensors is expected to deliver crucial information for developing a mobility safety assist system.

[2024.02.29] The ADIP lab has secured research funding from Hyundai Motor Company for the project titled "Development of NVH performance prediction method for drive motor housings via ML." The allocated budget of $85,000 spans from March 1st, 2024, to February 28, 2025. In the context of this initiative, the ADIP laboratory is dedicated to crafting a groundbreaking architecture for multiphysics-informed neural networks specifically designed for drive motor housings. This innovative neural network is anticipated to offer valuable insights for creative design and control solutions.

[2024.02.28] The ADIP lab has obtained research funding from LG Electronics for the project titled "Development of a video-based AI platform for production process experts." The approved budget of $66,000 covers the period from March 1, 2024, to November 30, 2024. Within the scope of this endeavor, the ADIP laboratory is committed to creating an innovative image and video AI platform, incorporating features such as autolabeling, self-supervised learning, and meta-learning tailored for expert systems in production processes. This user-friendly and efficient platform is expected to provide design solutions for creative design and automation.
