Hi, I’m Srakar Adib Ahmed Srabonto, a passionate storyteller with over five years of experience in the media industry. I specialize in cinematography, photography, drone piloting and video editing, bringing creative ideas to life through visuals.
I’m currently studying Journalism, Media and Communication at Daffodil International University (DIU). One of my proudest moments was when my short film, "Shoe," became the First Runner-up in the National Short Film Competition 2024. I was honored to receive the award from renowned filmmaker Raihan Rafi during JMC Media Buzz - Fall 2024, an event that celebrates creativity and innovation in media.
I had the opportunity to work as a cinematographer on the documentary Project Water, which began in Bangladesh and will be filmed in three other countries. Collaborating with director Marta Miaskowska from Poland, this project provided me with invaluable experience and a chance to contribute to a globally significant narrative.
Over the years, I’ve been recognized for my contributions to different projects and events by organizations like Swinburne University of Technology, Australia and Rumor Scanner Bangladesh.
As a cinematographer, I focus on telling meaningful stories through my work. I enjoy exploring new places, trying adventurous activities and continuously improving my skills to deliver impactful visuals.
Thrilled to receive the First Runner-up award for Shoe at the National Short Film Competition 2024. Deeply grateful to JMC, DIU, and my amazing team for making this possible. Honored to be recognized by director Raihan Rafi!
