Hi, I’m Anh-Dao “AD” Tran-Lagado, creator of AD Hoops.

My soul yearns to live a life of intention and purpose. A life rooted in faith, growth, and love compelled to do meaningful and impactful work. To that end, I strive to constantly grow and share my passion because I know what it feels like to dream big and work hard to realize it. I sincerely hope my pursuit of what sets my heart and soul on fire encourages others to pursue a life they have always imagined.

Basketball has been one of the greatest gifts on my journey. It’s so much more than a game to me. Through it, God has taught, connected, and grounded me in my purpose. Through the triumphs and the challenges, the gains and the setbacks, basketball has introduced me to incredible people who have influenced me far beyond the court. As both a player and coach, I’ve grown not just in basketball skills but in character, resilience, and wisdom.

Fundamentally grounded in gratitude and proudly being a lifelong learner, I aim to always evolve by continuously learning and growing from others so that I can be the best version of myself. Through AD Hoops, I feel a deep responsibility to give back what the game has given me: faith (in God, myself, and others), opportunity, community, and love.

I truly believe people are our greatest assets. If I can inspire even one person by leading with authenticity and love in what I do, then I know I’m living out my purpose.
