Happy 2023-2024 School Year!

Welcome to the Adelphia School PTA!

Dear Adelphia Families,

The 2023-2024 school year is approaching, and we are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the children. As the building principal, I could not be more excited to welcome new families and returning families to what will be a great school year. September is filled with endless opportunities and new experiences which begin to set the tone for an entire school year.

As we greet all students on Thursday, September 7th, our focus will include creating a sense of belonging as well as getting ready to learn. Throughout the month of September, staff will support all children as they adjust to a new instructional environment. Staff will also be committed to ensuring that all students will have the opportunity to build relationships with peers. At Adelphia School we take great pride in our commitment to making children feel valued, safe, and loved so they are then able to reach their full potential. As always, I am confident the educational partnerships and daily communication between home and school will ensure success. Adelphia School, our school, is a special place for children.

We ask that families stay current with information and read all school messengers. We will send out information via school messenger. Please be sure to visit the district and school website at www.howell.k12.nj.us for updates throughout the year. If you do not have internet access, please be sure to notify the main office.

We ask that you please take the time to carefully review all information, important forms, and the student handbook. All of the above-mentioned items contain important information regarding the policies and procedures that will be in effect for the school year.

Enjoy the remaining days of summer and I look forward to working closely with you and your child as we begin the new school year.

On behalf of the PTA Members and Board, I would like to Welcome all of our Adelphia Families Back to School for the 2023-2024 School Year! Our PTA remains committed to providing Adelphia students with an exciting school year filled with as many fun events as well as educational programs and experiences as possible. We hope that you decide to become a Member of the Adelphia PTA!

This year, the PTA will continue to support Adelphia in the following ways:

★ Purchasing the Reflex Math Program

★ Supporting the Adelphia PAWS Program

★ Providing Adelphia with the “Books of the Month”

★ Supporting the “Lunch Loot Program”

★ Supporting the “Top Tigers Program”

★ Providing family and holiday events and fundraisers

★ Purchasing second grade towels

★ Providing Teacher Back to School Breakfast and Teacher Appreciation Week

★ PTA budgeting has also prepared for field trips, activities throughout the year, and cultural arts events.

The PTA wants to make sure that you are kept informed throughout the year. We will be sending email notifications and reminders through Memberhub, as well as updating information on the Adelphia PTA Facebook page, which is a closed group available only for Adelphia Families (kindly send a request to join). We will also be updating the Adelphia PTA website https://sites.google.com/view/adelphia-pta where you can find current information.

The Adelphia PTA has worked closely with our sister school, Ardena, to coordinate our calendars and try and ensure that events for families in both schools coincide with one another.
