2022 CONTEND FOR THE FAITH

Finding All Scripture Inspired Truthful Helpful

Some of the previous years themes

2019 Theme “Fit For The Battle”. We live in a broken society, which struggles with many battles, battles that we may never see coming: Health, Financial, Emotional and yes, even Spiritual. I believe that the Lord has all the answers to any and all battles that we may ever encounter. My personal Hope and Prayer is that you find what you need to fight the Battle that you may find yourself in today.

2020 Theme “Beautiful Scars”. Unfortunately, we all have Scars, rather visible or invisible. To Love is to be vulnerable and therefore easily hurt by people. God designed us to love, for He is love Himself. As you may have already realized that the result of loving much will cause many Scars. Jesus is the only person to have had fatal scars to heal, that being the scars that He received while enduring the pain and shame of the Cross. God wants to help you heal and reveal all the wonderful things that He has in store for you.

Scars a sign that you have been hurt, proof that you have been healed.

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.Psalm 147:3

2020 has changed your life and mine, but I am glad to just simply still be here. With a New Year comes new expectations, with so many changes being made you may find yourself at a Crossroad not knowing which is the right way for you to go. My goal as the Pastor of this "Great Adel Baptist Church" is to "Equip the Saints" (Eph. 4:11-12). This means I am, (as God leads), to Preach to you the Grace of God to help you make those decisions as you come to those "Crossroads"

2021, "Whom say ye that I am". Jesus asked this question to His disciples. Herein lies the entire foundation to our Faith, Who is Jesus to you?

The goal of the "Great Adel Baptist Church this year is to not only reach people with the Gospel Story, but to also ask this question, "Who is Jesus to You"? The answer to that question could be the reason that you are here today and also the answer to many other questions that you may have!

Let's find out together!!!

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Matthew 16:15
