Adelaide Italian Language Centre
Matilde was born in Italy, in the heart of Tuscany. She received her Diploma at Socio-Psycho-Pedagogical High School in Prato, which is specialised in Social Sciences, Psychology, and Education, with special attention to the study of effective teaching methods. After she completed her Diploma, she achieved her Degree in Law at the University of Florence.
In 2019, she moved to Perth, where she discovered her passion for teaching the Italian language. She has extensive teaching experience and has provided lessons to both children and adults at all levels. She taught Italian in primary and high schools as well as in several language schools across Perth.
In 2025, she moved to Adelaide where she founded the Adelaide Italian Language Centre, a welcoming and dynamic space dedicated to sharing the beauty of the Italian language and culture.
Adelaide Italian Language Centre offers high-quality Italian courses for learners of all ages and levels, designed to make language learning enjoyable, effective, and culturally enriching. A variety of high-quality options are available, including face-to-face group classes, online courses, conversation classes, and individual lessons.
The program structure not only provides a solid foundation for beginners but also allows those with previous experience in Italian to join at any point. Classes are held in a relaxed, supportive setting that encourages learners to build their confidence and improve their conversational skills.
In line with the communicative approach to language learning, class sizes are kept small (from 5 to 12 students) to ensure that every learner has ample opportunity to actively participate and practice speaking Italian in realistic, everyday situations.
