This Privacy Policy explains how Theme for iPhone 17 Pro Max (“the App,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) accesses, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the App.
By installing or using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Overview
Theme for iPhone 17 Pro Max is a personalization application that provides wallpapers, themes, ringtone previews, wallpaper application tools, favorites, downloads, and photo-editing features.
The App does not require account registration and does not ask users to provide a name, phone number, postal address, password, or payment information.
The App may use third-party services, including Google Mobile Ads, Google User Messaging Platform, Google Play services, and Google ML Kit. These services may process limited technical information as described below.
2. Information Processed by the App
Photos selected by the user
The Photo Studio allows you to select an image using the Android system Photo Picker.
The App accesses only the image that you deliberately select. It does not scan or access your entire photo library through this feature. Android’s Photo Picker is designed to provide permission-free access to selected media instead of granting broad access to the user’s full media library.
Selected images may be processed for:
Filters and visual effects
Rotation
Full-image blur
Background blur
Wallpaper creation
Saving an edited copy
Applying the image as a wallpaper
Photo editing and subject segmentation are performed on the device. The App does not upload your selected photos to our own servers.
Locally stored app preferences
The App may store limited settings locally on your device, including:
Onboarding completion status
Favorite wallpaper identifiers
Downloaded-item identifiers
Selected filters or editing preferences
Internal ad-frequency or session settings
This information is used only to provide app functionality and is normally removed when you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App.
Saved images and downloaded content
When you choose to save an edited image or wallpaper, the App may write the file to a shared media location such as:
Pictures/AuraWall
Files saved to shared device storage may remain on your device after the App is uninstalled. You can delete those files using your gallery or file-management application.
On Android 10 and newer, apps generally do not require storage permission to access and manage media files that they create through MediaStore.
Internet and content requests
The App connects to the internet to:
Load online wallpapers
Load ringtone previews
Display advertisements
Obtain consent choices
Download required ML Kit components
Check network availability
Improve loading reliability
When the App connects to a server, that server may automatically receive standard technical request information such as an IP address, device type, operating-system version, request time, and requested resource.
3. Advertising and Third-Party Data Processing
The App uses Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner, native, interstitial, and app-open advertisements.
Depending on your region, consent choice, device settings, SDK configuration, and applicable law, Google and its advertising partners may process information including:
IP address
Advertising or device identifiers
App interactions
Ad views and ad clicks
Diagnostic information
Device and account identifiers
Fraud-prevention signals
Approximate location inferred from an IP address
Google’s official Mobile Ads disclosures state that the SDK may automatically collect or share IP address, user-product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
We do not independently sell personal information. However, advertising providers may process or share information according to their own policies, your consent choices, and regional legal requirements.
Where required, the App may display a Google consent form before requesting personalized advertising. Depending on your selection, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
You may also manage advertising preferences through your Android device or Google account settings.
4. Google ML Kit
The App uses Google ML Kit Subject Segmentation to provide the background-blur feature.
Image segmentation is performed on the device. The ML Kit model may be downloaded through Google Play services when the feature is first used or when an updated model is required.
Google may process limited ML Kit metrics or diagnostic information. Developers are responsible for informing users about Google’s processing of ML Kit metrics where required by law.
The App does not use ML Kit to identify a person, create a biometric profile, recognize a face, or determine a user’s identity.
5. Permissions and Special Access
The App may declare or request the following permissions and system access.
Internet
android.permission.INTERNET
Used to load online wallpapers, ringtone audio, advertisements, consent forms, and required online components.
Network state
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Used to determine whether a network connection is available and to manage content or advertisement loading.
Set wallpaper
android.permission.SET_WALLPAPER
Used only when you choose to apply an image to the Home Screen, Lock Screen, or both.
Android’s WallpaperManager provides supported APIs for setting device wallpapers.
Modify system settings
android.permission.WRITE_SETTINGS
Used only when you choose to set a ringtone or another supported system sound.
This is special Android access rather than an ordinary runtime permission. The App must direct you to the Android system settings screen, and the action is performed only after you approve access. Android documents this flow through Settings.System.canWrite() and ACTION_MANAGE_WRITE_SETTINGS.
You can revoke this access at any time through your device settings.
Legacy storage write permission
android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE
This permission is limited to Android 9/API 28 and older through:
android:maxSdkVersion="28"
It is used only when necessary to save an image to shared storage on older Android versions.
Photo selection
The App uses Android’s system Photo Picker to allow you to select an image. It does not request broad READ_MEDIA_IMAGES or unrestricted file access for this purpose. The picker grants access only to the media selected by the user.
6. Permissions the App Does Not Request
The App does not require access to:
Precise GPS location
Contacts
Call logs
SMS messages
Microphone
Camera
Calendar
Health information
Biometric information
All-files storage access
Phone-call management
The App does not use MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE.
7. How Information Is Used

If the App or its assets are transferred to another owner, information associated with operating the App may be transferred subject to appropriate legal protections.

9. Data Retention

10. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information processed through the App.
The App requires encrypted HTTPS connections for online resources and does not intentionally permit cleartext network traffic.
However, no mobile application, internet transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should maintain device security, install system updates, and avoid using modified or untrusted versions of the App.
11. User Choices and Controls
You may control your information by:

The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13 or the minimum legal age in the user’s country.
We do not knowingly request personal information directly from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of mobile applications and device-personalization features.
13. International Data Processing
Third-party service providers may process technical information on servers located outside your country.
Where required, such providers are responsible for using applicable safeguards for international data transfers under their own privacy terms and legal obligations.
14. Third-Party Content and Services
The App may load wallpapers, ringtone files, advertisements, or other content from third-party services.
Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, availability, security, or accuracy of third-party services.
15. Intellectual Property and Independence Notice
