Andrea (she/her) completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Barnard College and her PhD in clinical psychology with a minor in psychological statistics and methods at the University of Missouri. She completed her predoctoral clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Brown University. Her research focuses on the psychological processes surrounding alcohol, cannabis, and their co- or simultaneous use in individuals' daily lives, including how cannabis use affects alcohol treatment processes. Her clinical expertise is with adults and adolescents who struggle with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Andrea enjoys traveling, hiking, sharing food with friends and family, and spending time with her husband and baby.
Project Coordinator
Jacqueline (she/her) completed her undergraduate degree in psychology with a minor in social justice at the University of Missouri. She is the project coordinator of the Addiction Dynamics Lab and joined in June 2024. Her research interests include alcohol and cannabis use, ecological momentary assessment, and substance use treatment and co-occurring disorders such as PTSD. In her free time, Jacqueline loves to go on trips with her friends and family, crochet, watch movies, and relax outdoors.

Undergraduate Research Assistant
Ryan (any/all) is a current Sophomore at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is currently pursuing a B.S in Psychological Sciences and a B.A degree in Philosophy, as well as a minor in the Visual Arts. She is an academic coach on campus, a peer mentor for the disability center, and the Vice President of the Student Center for the Public Trust. She loves learning about moral psychology, existentialism, and how social forces impact the two. She plans to continue pursuing academic research in Social Psychology in the future.
Ryan spends most of his free time painting or sketching. He also enjoys playing video games, drinking tea, reading poetry, and playing Pathfinder with his friends.

Undergraduate Research Assistant
Zoey (she/her) is currently completing her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminology. She plans to pursue graduate studies in clinical psychology with a focus on addiction studies. Her research interests include co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, as well as treatment outcomes in individuals with substance use disorders. Zoey has spent the past three years working in both outpatient and inpatient treatment settings with adult and adolescent clients. In her free time, she enjoys reading, road trips, and spending time with her dog.

Summer Intern (2024)
Dona (she/her) was a 2024 summer undergraduate research intern in the MU Alcohol Research Training Summer School. She worked with Dr. Wycoff to create a research abstract and present a poster titled “Exploring whether alcohol craving during drinking episodes depends on characteristics of simultaneous cannabis use” at the Summer Undergraduate Research Forum. Dona completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Arizona State University and is now pursuing a PhD in Clinical Psychology at Texas Tech University. Her research interests include using ecological momentary assessment methods to examine contextual and individual factors influencing alcohol and cannabis use, as well as internalizing symptoms and affective disturbances that underlie the escalation from recreational to risky or problematic substance use.
