Our Story

ADB Honeybee Farm & Garden is a family venture that integrates farming and growing ornamental plants. Its name was from the nicknames of the owners' children – Ate, Dira, and Basoi or ADB.

The venture started as a shared enthusiasm for farming in the family. Acquiring a parcel of idle land in Barangay Potol, Tayabas City, in 2012, the family started developing the land into coconut farms and rice fields. Later, the family acquired another agricultural land planted with fruit-bearing trees, bananas, and citrus. In 2020, the family started to propagate native stingless bees (Tetrogonula biroi) to improve the productivity of the coconuts and other fruit-bearing trees on the farm. Now, ADB Honeybee Farm harvests honey to supply the commercial market.

Inspired by the plant craze in 2020 and fueled by their passion, the family started to open their home garden to the market. Building on the original plants in their front yard, the family propagated and added more ornamental plants in their garden. Now, ADB Garden has almost a hundred kinds of garden plants. These include philodendrons, alocasia, ficus, aglaonemas, potus, and varieties of outdoor plants.
