I am a Moore Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia's Quantum Matter Institute collaborating with Marcel Franz (Since Sep. 2024).
I was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology working with Senthil Todadri (Sep. 2021 - Aug. 2024).
I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Toronto with Yong Baek Kim in 2021.
My main area of research is in condensed matter theory, with interests ranging from quantum anomalous Hall effects to unconventional superconductivity in two-dimensional moiré materials. I am also interested in generalizations of Kondo effects, non-Fermi liquids, quantum spin ice, and "hidden" multipolar orderings in three-dimensional systems.
More broadly, I am perpetually excited to examine emergent phases with various theoretical and numerical techniques, and to propose sharp experimental signatures of unusual many-body effects in connection with on-going and future experiments.
