This course is for Post-graduate students (UG students are also welcome to watch the videos, but I hope my treatment on this topic won't kill your motivation, you are always welcome to ask any questions), and in these videos, I give a brief overview of what you can expect from this course.
We’ll explore the beautiful world of Modular Forms- a central topic in modern Number Theory with deep connections to Complex analysis, Elliptic Curves, L-functions, and the Langlands program (just the idea, not into the depths of the Langlands Program).
The course will start from the basics, making it accessible to anyone with a background in undergraduate-level mathematics. We’ll build up the theory step by step, supported by examples, motivations, and historical context whenever required, including the contributions of great mathematicians like Ramanujan, Hecke, and Serre, and others.
Latest Update: 4 videos have been uploaded. Apologies for not being so active due to my academic work.
This is the first video of my playlist to help Indian Students by acknowledging them about how they can showcase their research work and what are the opportunities in research for them during school days.
