School Implementation

Our goal is to develop a program to implement the Microsoft X-Box Adaptive Controller into classroom use to promote inclusive play. As gaming holds many benefits for players (please see the "Why Game?" page or press the "Why Game?" button at the bottom of the page), it is important to understand how it can relate to education. We related the games we have created resources for to the California Common Core State Standards for Education. In the PDF below you will have access to see which games enlist which skills that are required in Californian education. This is an interactive PDF so click the document to explore the categories, standards, and games. Please click the "Peer Collaboration" button to learn more about how to implement the controller in the classroom.

We hope that future capstone groups or interested professionals will take on the physical implementation of these tools to classrooms.
