The purpose of this website is to provide physical educators with ideas and instructions on how to build adapted physical education equipment. During my research, I found several great ideas of equipment adaptations, but no explanation on how to make the equipment. Figuring out how to make the equipment can take a lot of time. Providing a resource with ideas and step by step instructions allows educators to adapt equipment in a timely manner!
Currently there are 9 pieces of adapted physical education equipment on this website. To view the task analysis and videos of each piece of equipment, click on the picture below, or go to the "Equipment Adaptations" drop down menu and click on the piece of equipment you want to view and learn how to assemble.
Note: Before assembling the adapted pieces of equipment, it is recommended to watch the videos of the students using the equipment.
