For Prospective Graduate Students

I am accepting PhD students now. Students having a background in 'General Biology' or 'Ecology, Evolution, and Physiology' with interests in chemistry, physics, mathematical modeling, and programming are welcome to join my Lab. E-mail me about your interests and we'll take it from there. In the meantime, you should check out our research interests, current projects, and publications.

Announcements: 2025 PhD Admissions

PhD Position: Open

I am looking for one PhD candidates to start in Jul 2025. Candidates having interests in 'species, climate warming, and evolution' (approach: macrophysiology to molecules) are encouraged to apply for these positions. Projects will involve sampling of natural populations, respirometry, genomics, and metabolomics.

The lab is fully equipped to address scientific questions that need integrative approaches.

Ahmedabad is a great place to spend 4 to 5 years of your career (great people and food). We are next door to IIM, PRL, and CEPT.

Ahmedabad University offers full tuition waivers to all the PhD candidates and fellowships to deserving candidates. Candidates with fellowships are also encouraged to explore these positions. Other funding options include PI grants, Teaching Assistantships, etc.
