The goal of this redesign was to modernize the ReEarth Initiative’s logo, ensuring it was sleek, unique, and versatile enough for use across a wide range of mediums—from digital platforms to printed materials and merchandise. The challenge was to retain the core identity of the original logo while enhancing its adaptability, simplicity, and contemporary appeal. The new design incorporates the hand motifs from the previous logo, maintaining a connection to the organization’s roots while making it more streamlined and visually dynamic.
The hand elements in the original logo were a key part of ReEarth’s identity, symbolizing human involvement in environmental conservation. Instead of replicating the exact hand motif, I chose to stylize it, simplifying its shape while maintaining its symbolic significance.
The redesign was created with adaptability in mind. The logo works in full color, monochrome, and even as a simplified icon, making it effective for everything from website icons to merchandise, print collateral, and social media.
