The following contain a collection of maps that I created using ArcGIS software
This map was created using data from EsriPress to compare the youth and elderly populations of Orange County in 2010. This resulting map shows the pattern of higher youth populations on the census tract level than elderly populations. Youth is defined as ages 0-17 while elderly is ages 65 and older.

This map illustrates the varying levels of college education by gender in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The differences can be seen in the tracts with darker shade having a higher percentage of college-graduated individuals. The graph on the bottom left highlights how a majority of the male or female tracts contain 20-50% of college-educated individuals.

This map highlights the creation of a study region for Jefferson and Denver Counties in 2007. The project required creating new feature classes for the urban study area by using point and polygon layers from the US Census Website. Through the use of geoprocessing operations I created the study are features seen on the left. The graduated symbols highlight the varying city populations. Wadsworth street is highlighted in red because of its significance as a major street nearby several cities.

The purpose of this map was to display different Police Beats in the city of Pittsburgh. This project required the ability to digitize the new polyline police beats in the Zone 2 Police District in Pittsburgh. The ability to digitize polyline areas is especially necessary for maps of police beats which can change. The zoomed in beats show in greater detail the areas Pittsburgh police officers patrol.

These maps depict the varying percentages of populations with health insurance in Orange County by gender from 2017 ACS 5-year estimates. This project required finding data from the US Census Bureau website, cleaning that data, adding it to Orange County layer, and creating comparative choropleth maps.
As can be seen in the maps above, Orange County generally has a high population percentage with health insurance overall both genders. The female population in has a higher percentage of health-insured individuals in comparison to the male population in Orange County.
