Adam Jondelius was born in Stockholm and grew up in Gloucestershire, England, where his passion for singing began at seven years old, as a treble at Tewkesbury Abbey and continued at Gloucester Cathedral throughout his college years.
After completing a Bachelor of Science in Music Technology at Staffordshire University, he began training as a baritone with Anne Dawson. He later earned a Master’s degree in Opera Performance from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, studying with Eric Roberts, Ingrid Surgenor, and Michael Pollock.
Now based in Sweden, Adam is a member of the Royal Opera House chorus in Stockholm, where he also performs as a soloist. He has also appeared regularly with Gothenburg Opera, the Swedish Radio Choir, Gothenburg Symphony Vocal Ensemble, and the Eric Ericson Chamber Choir. He is an active member of the vocal ensemble VoNo and is also passionate in his work as a soloist and outreach projects, bringing opera and music to community and schools.
