Past

Thanks to my parents, I had the opportunity to grow up driving racecars from the age of seven until I was eighteen. This gave me a great start with a mechanical background oriented around iterative testing and development. My obsession with airplanes pushed me to get my pilot certificate my junior year of high school at 18 years old. Previously, I have worked as a technical inspector for a racing series, a lineman at my local airport, and an engineering intern for two semesters at Aviat Aircraft, where I played key roles in the development of many new features improving the Aviat Husky.

After my two semesters interning at Aviat, I had a couple awesome engineering internships at Scaled Composites (summer 2018 and 2019). Scaled Composites specializes in rapid designing, building, and testing of extremely unique aircraft and spacecraft. Scaled was the first private company to send a man to space. And they did it twice within two weeks, using the same vehicle. At Scaled, I worked on the world's largest aircraft, "Stratolaunch", which first flew in the Spring of 2019. At this time, Scaled was contracted to build the plane for Stratolaunch.

While in college I also did some work for Team Rocket Aircraft, helping with their engineering effort to resume production of F1 Rocket and F4 Raider kits in the U.S.

In the Spring of 2020 I graduated from Purdue University with a B.S. in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.

Present

I am currently an Aerospace Engineer working at Stratolaunch in the Mojave Desert. We continue to make improvements to the world's largest aircraft in preparation for launching our hypersonic research vehicle "Talon", which is currently in development.

Future

My goal is to create breakthroughs in the world of experimental aviation. I want to design and create flying vehicles that are exciting and ground breaking. You can keep up with my professional career on my LinkedIn page.
