This Privacy Policy describes how Adallah ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Adallah mobile application ("App") and related services operated for authorized legal offices and their staff.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Adallah is a business application for law firms and legal offices. Access is provided to authorized users only. Account creation may require approval by your office administrator.
Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following categories of information:
Account and profile information: name, phone number, email address, office name, office address, entity type, professional registration details (such as syndicate number), and other information you provide during registration or profile setup.
Authentication data: login credentials, one-time verification codes (OTP), session tokens, and a secure device identifier used for biometric login. Biometric data (fingerprint or Face ID) is processed only on your device by the operating system; we do not collect or store your actual biometric templates.
Work and legal office data: cases, tasks, documents, meetings, attendance records, HR requests (such as leave, remote work, overtime, and financial advances), notes, files, and other content you create, upload, or access through the App.
Device and technical information: device model, operating system, app version, device identifier, language preference, and push notification token (FCM token).
Camera and media usage: when you scan a firm-issued QR code or select an image from your gallery for QR login, the App uses your camera or photo library only for that purpose. We do not access your camera or photos in the background.
Communications: notifications sent to you through the App and your interaction with them.
We use collected information to:
create and manage your account and authenticate you securely;
provide legal office management features, including cases, tasks, documents, meetings, attendance, and HR workflows;
send service-related push notifications and alerts;
maintain app security, prevent fraud, and troubleshoot technical issues;
improve performance, reliability, and user experience;
comply with applicable laws, regulations, and lawful requests.
We process data only for legitimate professional and operational purposes related to managing legal office work and providing the services requested by your organization.
Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more of the following:
performance of a contract or provision of requested services;
legitimate interests in operating and securing the App;
your consent, where required (for example, notifications or optional device permissions);
compliance with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
Within your organization: with authorized users and administrators of your legal office according to your role and permissions.
Service providers: with trusted third parties that help us operate the App, such as cloud hosting and push notification providers (including Google Firebase Cloud Messaging).

Business protection: to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, our services, or others.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on secure servers operated for Adallah. We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the App, fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business needs.

access, correct, or update your personal information through the App or by contacting us;
request deletion of your account using the in-app account deletion feature;
withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
disable push notifications through your device settings;

Internet: required to connect to Adallah services.
Camera: to scan firm-issued QR codes for secure sign-in.
Photo library / storage: to scan QR codes from saved images and to upload or download work files when you choose to do so.
Biometrics: optional fast sign-in using fingerprint or Face ID on your device.
Notifications: to send alerts about tasks, cases, meetings, and other work updates.
The App is intended for professional use by adults in legal offices. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
