Nuclear engineer Amber is in a deep coma inside the reactor of an atomic power plant. She realizes that the plant has been abandoned a long time ago and that she is the only one left. In order to wake up, she must find the answer to what happened, and how she can wake up and get out.
FLOWERS IN THE MACHINE is an ethereal short film about memory, cognition and awakening. Filmed in the defunct and atmospheric nuclear power plant in Lower Austria.
With stellar performances from Jella Jost and Julius Peter Steiner.
