Nuclear engineer Amber wakes up from a deep sleep inside the reactor of an atomic power plant. She gradually realises that the plant has been abandoned a long time ago and that she is the only one left behind. She goes looking for answers as to what happened to her, to the plant and everybody else.

FLOWERS IN THE MACHINE is an ethereal short film about loss and awakening. Filmed in the defunct and atmospheric nuclear power plant in Lower Austria.
