The Ada Senior High Technical school, popularly known as "ASTECH", was founded on 22nd February, 1991 as a community day school. The school is located in Sege in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana, along Tema-Aflao High Way.
The Ada Senior High Technical school, popularly known as "ASTECH", was founded on 22nd February, 1991 as a community day school. The school is located in Sege in the Greater Accra Region, Ghana, along Tema-Aflao High Way.
The school started with three programs namely: Agriculture Science, Technical (Metal Work, Wood Work, Building Construction) and Vocational (Home Economics, Visual Arts) under the leadership of the first Headmaster, Mr. Kwame Atto-Asare. The school then had a student population of one hundred and twenty (120), made up of seventy-eight (78) boys and fourty-two (42) girls to pursue the three programmes.
The school started with three programs namely: Agriculture Science, Technical (Metal Work, Wood Work, Building Construction) and Vocational (Home Economics, Visual Arts) under the leadership of the first Headmaster, Mr. Kwame Atto-Asare. Currently, the student population is over two thousand (2,000) under the leadership of Mrs. Eunice Naa Yeye Ocloo, the first female head of the school.

The school now runs these programmes; General Arts, General Science, Agricultural Science, Business, Visual Art, Technical and Home Economics with very competent and hardworking staffs helping to realize the vision of the school.
