Acute 140 ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
The App is a dedicated utility for managing GPS hardware devices, service renewals, and orders through an integrated ERP platform. We do not collect personal data for advertising, marketing, or third-party tracking purposes.
We only collect the minimum information necessary to provide core application functionality.
A. Authentication Data (OTP Login)
To access the App, users must log in using their registered credentials:
Mobile Number and Email Address: Collected solely to generate and send a One-Time Password (OTP) for secure authentication.
Purpose: To verify your identity as an authorized user or dealer and sync your specific GPS device dashboard.
B. Operational GPS & Service Data
The App processes data related to the GPS hardware linked to your account:
Device Details: Vehicle numbers, IMEI numbers, and activation status.
Subscription Info: Service expiry dates and renewal history.
Purpose: To allow users to monitor device status and manage hardware operations efficiently.
The App requires the following permissions to function correctly:
INTERNET (android.permission.INTERNET): Required to communicate with our secure ERP servers, fetch real-time device status, and process service renewals.
ACCESS NETWORK STATE (android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): Used to check for an active internet connection before performing critical tasks like payments or device activation.
We use Razorpay as a secure third-party payment gateway for service renewals and account top-ups.
Service Credits (Wallet): Users can purchase "Service Credits" via Razorpay. These credits are used exclusively for Physical Services, including GPS hardware activation, cellular connectivity for IoT devices, and AIS-140 compliance renewals.
No Digital Goods: These payments are for physical hardware maintenance and are not for digital content or virtual goods.
Payment Security: We do not store your credit card, debit card, or banking details. All transactions are processed securely by Razorpay.
We retain your information only as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services.
Data Deletion Rights: Users have the right to request the deletion of their account and associated authentication data (Mobile/Email).
How to Delete: To request data deletion, please contact us at support@acutecommunication.in. Upon verification, your data will be removed from our active databases within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
All data transmission between the App and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS protocols.
Access to the App is restricted via OTP-based secure authentication.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
We may employ third-party companies (e.g., Razorpay for payments or server hosting providers) to facilitate our Service. These third parties have access to your information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are strictly obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
