1. Policy Statement

Acuan Unggul Sdn Bhd is committed to conducting business with the highest standards of integrity and ethics. We adopt a zero-tolerance approach towards all forms of bribery and corruption. This policy is established to ensure compliance with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) Act 2009 and to support our journey toward ISO 37001:2025 certification.

2. Scope and Applicability

This policy applies to all directors, employees (whether temporary, fixed-term, or permanent), and business associates—including contractors, consultants, vendors, and agents—acting for or on behalf of Acuan Unggul Sdn Bhd.

3. Key Principles

• Prohibition of Bribery: No person associated with the company shall offer, promise, give, request, or accept any gratification (financial or otherwise) to improperly influence business decisions or gain an unfair advantage.

• Charitable and Political Contributions: All donations and sponsorships must be transparent, documented, and pre-approved to ensure they are not used as a cover for bribery.

• Gifts and Hospitality: While we value business relationships, the exchange of gifts or hospitality must be reasonable, proportionate, and strictly adhere to company guidelines to avoid any perception of impropriety.

• Facilitation Payments: Acuan Unggul Sdn Bhd strictly prohibits "grease payments" or facilitation payments intended to expedite routine administrative actions.

4. Corporate Liability (Section 17A, MACC Act 2009)

In accordance with Malaysian law, the company is liable for any corrupt acts committed by its employees or associated persons for the company’s benefit. We mitigate this risk by implementing Adequate Procedures and fostering a culture of transparency and compliance through regular staff training and ABMS awareness.

5. Whistleblowing Channel

We encourage all stakeholders to report any suspected or actual incidents of bribery, corruption, or unethical conduct. We provide a safe and confidential reporting mechanism, ensuring that whistleblowers are protected from retaliation.
