ACTOC’s mission is to ignite curiosity and passion for STEM and robotics in elementary school students by providing early exposure to these dynamic fields. We aim to foster a mindset of exploration and innovation, encouraging students to begin thinking about their academic and career paths from a young age. Recognizing that competitive robotics programs such as VEX, FIRST, and FRC often require substantial time, resources, and long-term commitment, we strive to offer a more accessible introduction. Through our engaging and hands-on workshops, students can gain foundational experience, build confidence, and develop critical thinking skills. This early exposure helps them make informed decisions about whether they want to pursue more advanced robotics opportunities in the future.
About the Co-founders
Hi my name is Amulya Atluri, I am in 10th grade at Portola High School. I have been doing robotics for the past two years, and I have learned many essential skills such as coding, and sharing effective ideas with my team members. Some of my hobbies include doing bhartanatyam, an Indian classical dance, which I have been practicing for the past 10 years. I also helped to do a fundraiser for kids with no limbs in India, by doing a walk-a-thon. I love the idea of educating the future generations, and I can’t wait to work with all of the kids.
Heyy!!! I’m Nitika Metharamitta, and I'm currently a 10th grade student attending Northwood High School with a passion for robotics. Over the past three years I’ve had the privilege of leading my robotics team, where I’ve developed a wide range of skills such as leadership and gained invaluable experience. I have excelled my knowledge on coding, designing and building new mechanisms. I love to meet new people especially hangout with my friends, and I enjoy traveling and eating a lot! Im looking forward to help inspire the next generation in STEM!
