ACTM Reader ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our digital reference suite for mobile devices.
1. Information Collection and Use
We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number through the core functions of the App. However, the App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you.

The App utilizes the following Google Firebase services to improve performance and stability:
* Google Analytics for Firebase: Collects basic usage data and device identifiers to help us understand how the App is used.
* Firebase Crashlytics: Collects stack traces and device state information when the App crashes to help us fix bugs.
* Firebase Performance Monitoring: Collects technical data regarding App speed and responsiveness.
* Firebase Remote Config: Used to provide updated content URLs and default settings without requiring a full App update.
B. Local Data Storage
The App uses an internal Room Database to store manual content, including volumes, chapters, and quiz questions. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
2. Log Data & Cookies
Whenever you use the App, in the case of an error, we collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our service, and the time and date of your use.
3. External Content & WebViews
The App displays reference materials (HTML) fetched from official sources, such as indianrailways.gov.in.
* When viewing these materials, the App uses a WebView.
* While we sanitize the content for mobile viewing, interacting with these external links may subject you to the privacy policies of the external website owners.
4. Permissions
The App may require the following permissions:
* Internet Access: To download manual updates and fetch Remote Config data.
* Storage Access: To cache downloaded HTML chapters locally on your device for offline reading.
5. Children’s Privacy
This App is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
