Activesync Windows 10

Juniper Systems, who make a replacement line of devices, continue to host the software and published a fix for it. Their guide is at -base/support-knowledge-base-topics/desktop-connection-activesync-or-windows-mobile-device-center/wmdc-in-windows-10.

Loading it up in ORCA ( -gb/windows/downloads/windows-sdk/ and then run C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\bin...\x86\Orca-x86_en-us.msi) shows that it installs batch files that either open or close and then open WMDC, and sets up the following registry keys:

There are no emails in the subfolders i can only sync the emails that is located in the Inbox. I have also tried creating a folder at the same level as Inbox but the emails will not sync. The client is HTC HD 2 and HTC HD mini with windows mobile.The subfolders in the Inbox are listed but not the emails inside them.

That is how it is. NOt all windows versions support sub-folders. At the end of the day you havet t live with it and organize your email according to that - i.e. not use subfolders, retire from android or get a current vversion from windows mobile / exchange.

Sync windows are configurable windows of time where syncs will either be blocked or allowed. These are definedby a kind, which can be either allow or deny, a schedule in cron format and a duration along with one or more of either applications, namespaces and clusters. Wildcards are supported. These windows affect the running of both manual and automated syncs but allow an override for manual syncs which is useful if you are only interestedin preventing automated syncs or if you need to temporarily override a window to perform a sync.

The windows work in the following way. If there are no windows matching an application then all syncs are allowed. If thereare any allow windows matching an application then syncs will only be allowed when there is an active allow window. If thereare any deny windows matching an application then all syncs will be denied when the deny windows are active. If there is anactive matching allow and an active matching deny then syncs will be denied as deny windows override allow windows. TheUI and the CLI will both display the state of the sync windows. The UI has a panel which will display different colours dependingon the state. The colours are as follows. Red: sync denied, Orange: manual allowed and Green: sync allowed.

We have discovered that users who have activesync enabled and are accessing company mail on their iphone or ipad receive errors about being unable to connect to server, and pop ups on their device asking for user name and password.

Create a sync chain from the mac (or windows tried both).

Add IOS device to the chain.

The sync happens as expected.

Things works as expected for few hours.

After 2 days, add new bookmarks on the desktop (mac or pc) browser, open brave on IOS.
