Clean Navigation - This same shows my design in the first online cannabis course in Colorado where I used tabs as a way to create clear focus on the lecture part. The lectures were in an application that had in-video quiz questions and analytics to determine how much the participants watched. Underneath, I also make sure the participants had handouts to download.
Along with the overall design of each page, it is important to provide a consistent map of where to access each module in a course. This is a basic example of how I label the pages accordingly per module to ensure learners do not get lost in the process.
Articulate 360 Experienced - Articulate Rise is a relatively new product that is creating a clean interface for a learning experience. Combining the power of Articulate Storyline with the new Rise product, I am able to pull from multiple sources to make your course a smooth learning experience for your participants!
Intentional Active Learning Technology - As part of a $2.2 million dollar Federal Grant, I collaborated with stakeholders to enhance learner engagement and learner retention by integrating technology that enhanced active learning pedagogical implementation. I helped design the matrix switching of the multiple screens by allowing anyone to connect their devices and share it anywhere in the room.
Online Support Services - I love going back to my roots in learning technologies where I helped the University of South Carolina prototype how online academic services could look like. I trained coordinators and student staff on how to use web-based chats for online advising and whiteboard applications embedded for tutoring resources. The resulted in an increased use of overall services of the Student Success Center.
