2009, Active Interchiller developed the "Active Heat Exchanger Bypass," which automatically bypasses your HX by monitoring your intercooler fluid temperature. This eliminates the heat introduced by the HX but allows you to turn off your AC and still drive using your HX in winter or as a safety backup. Another advantage is that this switching is real-time; during a long pull after the compressor turns off, the HX will return if the intercooler coolant reaches 80°F.

Also 2009, Active Interchiller developed "Competition Mode" (Track/Race Mode) which is an important invention for Chillers. Before this chillers were not popular since you could not use them at the track due to condensation leaking from the evaporator. The Competition Solenoid blocks refrigerant flow to the cabin so you can run the system in 2 modes of operation: 1. Cabin and Chiller 2. Chiller only (comp mode) This stops any condensation dripping from the cabin evaporator, and 100% of the cooling goes to your IAT. All the new start-ups have simply copied our "Competition Mode" to make their products marketable, some even copy "HX Bypass" There is room for everyone but give credit due...

2016 We developed Our Exclusive " Refrigerant Distribution Device" This is inside every Chiller Core to distribute the refrigerant across all the plates evenly optimizing cooling efficiency. Manufactured by our CNC Shop CJ Precision Machine, Chris does all our custom CNC refrigerant adapters, laser metal cutting, and forming.
