The “ACTivate: College Success Bootcamp” is a summer college preparatory program for High School Students who qualify for free and reduced lunch. Unlike other programs, ACTivate seeks to tap the power of competition to challenge youth to work as a high school team and earn points for their school through their program participation. This one-week summer program would also take students through topics including ACT prep, scholarship opportunities, leadership development and more.

This is not intended to be your typical college prep course; this is a FUN, competition-oriented experience that will result in an end of the week prize and VIP Campus tour for the team who has the most points. This experience is assisted and facilitated by current college mentors from various programs at UNL, including but not limited to Honors students, Admissions Diversity Ambassadors, and more.
