Activate Cash App Card

Like any other credit or debit card, customers need to order this Cash app card to use it. Below are the steps to order a Cash card:

Download the Cash app on your device and create an account.
Click on the card icon available on the bottom of the home screen.
Click on the order button. After this, you will be redirected to a new page to select the colour of the card. You also have to choose whether you want to print your #Cashtag or any print on the card or not.
Then you have to enter your name, birth date and social security number to process further.
Click on OK to confirm the details provided by you.
Once you confirm the details, the Cash card will be delivered to your address in 10 business days.

Activate Cash card with QR code:

Open the Cash App on your mobile device.
Click on the icon of Cash Card available on the bottom of the screen.
Tap on Activate Cash App Card.
Use your mobile camera to Scan the QR Code printed on the Cash Card.
Align the camera properly on QR code to scan it. Once the code is scanned your Cash Card is ready to use.

Activate Cash card without QR code: If you don’t have a QR code then follow the below steps to activate the Cash card.

Start the Cash App on your mobile.
Click on the icon of Cash Card available on the bottom of the screen.
Tap on the “activate Cash card” option to start the activation process.
Click on the “missing QR code” option and select “Use CVV instead” in the option.
Enter your CVV code and expiry date printed on the Cash card. Once you enter the details your Cash card is ready to use.

Service charges are taken by Cash app:

Cash apps don’t take any charges for making personal payments. But If you are using a Cash app business account then you have to pay the service charges. Cash app takes the below charges for a business account:

The recipient has to pay 2.75% for Business payments.
Customers have to pay 1.50% for Instant deposit in the business account.
If you are making a payment from a credit card, then the sender has to pay 3 % charges.

Limitations of a Cash card: Alike other ATM cards, Cash app also have withdrawal limits. Customers can withdraw up to $250 per transaction and $1250 in a period of 30 days. Apart from this, you cannot withdraw more than $1000 in 24 hours and $1000 in a week.
