Customized classes are designed for ages 14 to adult, at all levels. All sessions are skillfully coached by Barbra Andrews Stricker {MAT, CTE} - a Colorado licensed theater arts teacher who has acted and directed professionally in theatre for 20 years.

Barbra Andrews Stricker acted professionally for 20 years with theatre companies throughout Colorado, Pennsylvania, Chicago, and New York. Some notable roles include the title role in Miss Julie, Theresa in Circle Mirror Transformation (2011 Denver Post Ovation Award for Best Comedy Ensemble), Annie in The Real Thing (2011 Colorado Theatre Guild Best Actress nominee), Sylvia in The Pride (2011 Colorado Theatre Guild Best Actress nominee), Molly in Love Song (2009 Best of Westword Play), Hedda in Hedda Gabler (Marlowe and Colorado Backstage Spotlight Awards and Best Actress nominations from Colorado Theatre Guild and Denver Post Ovation Awards), and Honey in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? a role that garnered her the Colorado Theatre Guild's 2008 Henry, Marlowe, and Colorado Backstage Spotlight Awards as well as a Denver Post Ovation nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama. Barbra accomplished an acting apprenticeship with Powerhouse Theatre and New York Stage and Film Company at Vassar College, trained one-on-one with Tony Award-winner, Rondi Reed, at Chicago’s prestigious Steppenwolf Theatre, and was an Understudy for the lead role in Denver Center Theatre Company's production of Reckless (2010). For years, Barbra was represented by Radical Artists Agency under her stage name: Barbra Andrews, where she filmed regional commercials. Barbra holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with an emphasis in Acting and Directing from the University of Northern Colorado and a Masters in Teaching. She has a K-12 Theatre endorsment on her license and is a CTE [Career & Technical Education ] certified teacher. When she was an ensemble member with Paragon Theatre in Denver, she performed in thirteen of their productions over the course of twelve years. Barbra has taught various acting courses at both the Arvada Center and Northglenn Youth Theatre. Barbra created the entire Theatre Arts department program and built leveled vertical curriculum that aligns with the CTE pathway for Oberon Middle School in Arvada, Colorado since 2018. She has directed many student productions and professional productions. She is passionate about teaching theatre and facilitating her students' growth in the performing arts.
