It should wait until the process of disposal is approve, but for now it is not so why did the disposal still continue? It should not be dispose rather than giving it back to the Division Office than selling it to junk shops.

According to the interview of Sir Romar Sario the School Property Custodian of Recto Memorial National High School (RMNHS), a lifespan of a book last for 5 years and above, after that it can be counted for disposal.

We have the library to at least store the books that are brand new and still in the box. There are some books that are in very good condition but they choose to dispose it rather than keeping it at least so it can still be use for teachers.

Beacuse of the new curriculum which is DepEd Matatag, the books from the past curriculum can no longer be use as the book of students unless teacher only use those books as reference for their lesson. 

The DepEd should provide new books for the new curriculum that will be implemented, specially bacause some books are still usable but consisted not because of it's late delivery to the school.

This process of disposal is cannot be measure, it depends to the Cost of Attendance (COA) or to the people or committee thay wil be assign to it.

In this case, that committee members are of course teachers as well, in that case there is no doubt that the process of the disposal will take time because of the duty that the particular teacher needs to do as part of their duty.

There are some cases that the books are look printed that resulting to drying out the budget of the school, then it will be delivered but once it's delivered it'sjnot usable anymore, it's new arrival but too old for the curriculum. 

With this matter, it's no longer the schools problem, it's more like the DepEd itself problem in terms of distributing their books.

In conclusion, the book disposal maybe unfair for the side of DepEd beacuse of the money and budget they put into it, but at the same time the school wants to dispose the booms thay can no longer be use.

In this matter, DepEd can actually gave some ideas to the school who are storing a lot of waste materials that needs to be dispose, in this case they don't find it unfair and be more use to them.
