According to the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources (MENRO) head of Tiaong Lani Limbo, Adopt a Tree Program is project under Public-Private Partnership (PPP) through MENRO, that intents to strengthen the connection between private sektors and individuals for community projects.
Limbo said.
The team built a road and viewing deck along Tikub Lake and at the same time they planted trees that they managed to finisher the project on December 2023.
By the start of 2024, the project is turned over to the Local Government of Tiaong for proper care.
On the other hand, due to the scorching temperature, only 80% of the plant is guaranteed to survive according to Limbo.
There are thirteen groups of people that participated the project and currently there are eleven active groups that continuously waters the plant two times a week.
