It can be remembered that the number of cases of Pertussis in the country is increasing, which is why it is worrying that what happened at the height of the pandemic will happen again.

As a student at Recto Memorial National High School (RMNHS) it is scary that Pertussis is similar to Covid-19 where f2f classes may be lost again due to its threat.

If the lock down happens again in the Philippines, the students will suffer again in learning because there is no teacher by their side to help them.

Also some of what I see during that time where students and teachers don't meet each other, the students just let them do their work on their own.

Some parents also use it as an opportunity for their children to get high grades so they do their homework.

Not only students will be affected by Pertussis if it worsens because even workers may not be able to go to work due to the impending illness.

I can say that it is necessary for the citizens to be careful so that the cases of Pertussis do not increase and so that there is no more lock down in our country.
