Valerie Akins, LCSW, LCDC, LCAS
Valerie is in private practice and currently specializes in ACT and RO DBT for disorders of overcontrol. Previously she worked in inpatient psych and detox, residential eating disorder treatment and PHP/IOP settings. She works with disorders such as OCPD, AVPD and Schizoid Personality. She also works with anxiety, eating disorders and schizophrenia spectrum disorders.

Leslie A. Veach, M.S., NCC, LCMHCS, CGP
Leslie is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor (LCMHCS) and a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) in private practice in Greenville, NC. She works from an ACT framework to address a wide-variety of client concerns. She previously worked in the college/university setting for 20+ years. Currently, she specializes in working with clients seeking assistance with anxiety, OCD, ADHD, burnout, adjustments related to early adulthood, and mid-life transitions.
Mary Hill, PhD
Mary is a licensed psychologist and clinical assistant professor at the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill. She completed her doctoral training under the mentorship of Dr. Aki Masuda, a peer-reviewed ACT trainer and ACBS fellow. She uses the ACT model and processes in her work with clients with a variety of presenting concerns, including PTSD, eating disorders, and anxiety-related disorders, and provides training and supervision in ACT and other exposure-based interventions to psychology interns and fellows at UNC.
