UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA
(Full Scholarship)One of the most valuable things that ACS Jakarta taught me was to be bold and passionate in pursuing my goals.
Being in the supportive community around me in ACS Jakarta gave me the confidence to explore these opportunities, which in turn equipped me with the tools I needed to succeed in high school, college, and beyond.
My time in ACS Jakarta was not just an education but a journey of finding out who I truly was and who I wanted to be. Since I stepped into ACS, I personally experienced how two of our school’s key areas of focus worked in my life: Community and Opportunity.
I never once felt that school was just a place where we crammed our brains with information; it was a place where being active in our community and being ourselves were very much encouraged.
This affirming environment led me to join the Model Congress Club where public speaking skills were judged by adjudicators and competitors from around the world, and even step into the role of Student Council President.
Yes, ACS’s vision to nurture leaders for God, country and community, was more than just writing on paper, it is a mission embedded in its educational system and its community.
ACS Jakarta focuses a lot on academics and the teachers really supported and helped me get the best grades that I could achieve. The teachers were key in helping me unlock my true potential as a student. Other than that, the school also offers great extra-curricular activities (ECA) such as the Entrepreneurship Club, which exposes us to new experiences; and all these played important roles in my acceptance into Stanford University.
Being accepted in the ACS Jakarta scholarship program has been one of the greatest moment that I have in my life. Without ACS Jakarta, I will never be able to pursue my life-long dream of studying abroad. Thank you ACS Jakarta for every thing.
