Taxi: A taxi from Brisbane Airport to UQ Chancellor's Place (St Lucia Campus) will cost approximately $75. Uber or Didi will cost approximately $50.
Airtrain: The Airtrain connects Brisbane’s International and Domestic Airports to the city, with stops at Central, Roma Street, and South Brisbane stations. From there, you need to take a connecting bus to reach the University. Fares are $22.30, payable via contactless bank card or go card. For more details, see here.
To travel by bus or City Cat ferry, you will need to purchase a go card from convenient stores or top up machines at busway/train stations. Bus and City Cat fares are a flat 50 cents. For more details, see here.
Update: From March 24th onwards, you can pay for travel on buses, ferries, and trains using a contactless bank card or a digital bank card on your phone or smartwatch. Just remember to tap on and off with the same card or device. Fares stay the same at a flat 50 cents. See here for more information. Go cards are still accepted, but purchasing one requires a $10 refundable deposit.
Bus: UQ St Lucia campus has two bus stops: Chancellor's Place and UQ Lakes. Both have regular bus routes to the city.
Ferry: UQ St Lucia campus has a City Cat ferry terminal located near the UQ Lakes bus station and Eleanor Schonell Bridge.
Internet access: Eduroam is available on campus. There is also free public wifi for UQ conference attendees, see UQ Guest wifi.

Wordsmiths Cafe, outside building 4, staff house road. Serves breakfast, lunch and coffee.
Merlo Coffee (Duhig tower, building 2)
Patina Alumni Court (licensed), premium dining option.
Phizz food court (building 63) - Outlets include Guzman y Gomez, Subway, Oriental Corner, Marketcart, Boost Juice, Kenko Sushi
Main refectory (Union building 21) - Options include Kenko Sushi, Main Course, On a Roll Bakery, Boost Juice, Redroom
Biological Sciences Library (building 94) - Darwin's (licensed), Pizza Caffe, Bagel Boys
Lakeside Cafe (licensed), outside Advanced Engineering (Building 49) overlooking the UQ lakes, offers Vietnamese cuisine and breakfast options. Open until about 2pm.
Saint Lucy Caffe e Cucina (licensed) at the UQ Tennis Centre. Open for lunches and dinners in the week.
