Second, while I have the latest updated version of OS on my iMac, my printer, Canon Prima MX870 series 2, does support duplex printing and I use it all the time for duplex printing my word documents I send to the printer, I cannot figure out how to duplex print my adobe reader PDF files or any PDF files for that matter. I have followed all instructions that I could find about how to turn it on, however none of the instructions work. I have clicked on "printer" and when my screen comes up it shows duplex printing "off" in light gray and I cannot change it to "on" and no where on my iMac screen does it show anything called "properties" which some other instructions tell me to click on.

I know that this can be fixed by changing the name of the "server" in the viewer output profile. This is how I have fixed it every time before. Currently I have it as "acroviewR21", which has worked this year until today. Usually it can be fixed just by updating the year, but since it is still 2021 (as is my version of acrobat reader DC), I am really not sure what to do. I have tried various permutations of the capitalization to no effect. I have tried making it 22 with no effect.

Acrobat Reader Version 4 Free Download

Hi all. I have both Acrobat DC and Acrobat Reader packaged. They used to install fine together on the same machine, but now they won't (maybe it was when I downloaded an updated installed?). We have some computers that are shared and one person on the machine will have a DC Standard/Pro license but the other person just needs Reader. Adobe seems to say they shouldn't be installed on the same machine but is there any way to use Acrobat DC as reader without having to sign in? Thanks.

@amartin has this adobe acrobat reader dc updater script been fixed yet? I just grabbed it earlier today and it's nothing but spitting out error when trying to update to current version (see below taken from policy details of one computer that is currently running 20034).

I found that sometimes it was because the installed macOS was not compatible with the current version of adobe reader.

Computers running version 17 or 18 of reader weren't compatible with current versions 20.

Acrobat Reader is a type of freeware developed by Adobe systems as a .pdf reader (Portable Document Format). Users can view, print and email .pdf documents along with newer premium features which include converting files to .pdf and vice versa and creating professional, interactive fillable forms such as questionnaires or application forms. Acrobat Reader automatically installs a plug-in for Netscape Navigator allowing users to view .pdf forms through their web browser.

Done some more research and it seams that a registry value needs to be read to set the correct product to reader. It might be possible to have a workaround in the agent to add the registry key and evidences, but will go for a ticket to the content team.

You are right Acrobat reader as a common add / remove program evidence, but no WMI. So, you could theoretically ignore the add / remove evidence and add the WMI... The issue is that you can't make WMI evidences clever (for instance 21.%.20%), unless inserting them in the database.

see attached for file evidence. I think one of the real problems is that AcroRd32.exe appears in both versions. However, acrobat.exe is unique to the Pro Install, as is AcroBroker and AcroDist. But the distiller version can differ from the executable. The Pro version executable has no file size, so not sure why that is not being distinguished from the Reader Version

Is there a reason you are using such an old version of Publisher? The latest V1 version number is 1.10.6 We haven't had any other reports of this and a quick test here seems to be working fine its likely this is an issue with Acrobat reader etc does it work okay in other apps?

If have an older installation then please make sure to read the general terms of use and uninstall any old Reader and plug-in installation before installing the new reader and the plug-in. The integration works with the 2019.010.20064 version of Acrobat Reader DC and Acrobat DC. Please do not use the plug-in with an earlier version of Acrobat.

Adobe Acrobat reader is suggested for viewing and completing forms stored in the FGM Module Section 8 as .pdf format. It is recommended that you be able to read Adobe .pdf format to complete this FGM Module.

Is there an email list that I can sign up for to know about when the next adobe reader version is coming out? I want to limit the information to this topic and would appreciate if someone could provide me a link to subscribe. Thanks. 0852c4b9a8
