Dr. Armstrong received his B.Sc. in the United Kingdom and his Ph.D. in Australia. He has conducted research in Australia at the University of Tasmania and in the United States at the University of Iowa. He is currently an assistant professor at Syracuse University where his research focuses on uncovering the mechanisms of cardiovascular dysfunction and identifying novel biomarkers to improve the assessment of cardiovascular health.
Heidi is studying Biology and Public Health on the pre-med track. She aspires to attend medical school in the future to achieve her career goal of becoming a physician.
Tatum is a sophomore majoring in Health and Exercise Science with a minor in Biology. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school, with the goal of becoming a pediatrician.
Jackie, a Connecticut native is studying Biology on the pre-medical track. As a future physician her research interests are centered on strategies to promote and maintain cardiovascular health through healthy lifestyle interventions.
Amani Gullo, a resident of Canandaigua, NY, is a freshman studying biomedical engineering. He strives to be in the medical field as he plans to have a career taking care of patients.
