ACOVA HIGHLIGHTS
December Administrator Highlight
Administrator Highlight: Trina Busch – Williams High School
Since stepping into her role as CTE Director at Williams High School, Trina Busch has delivered remarkable growth, innovation, and opportunity for students across the district. Under her leadership, the CTE Department has expanded significantly, adding a Heavy Machinery program, reinstating Automotive and Welding course offerings, and establishing a strong partnership with Sundt Construction to bring NCCER credentialing to campus. Students have already earned their OSHA-10 certifications, demonstrating Trina’s commitment to industry-recognized skill development.
Always forward-thinking, Trina has also enhanced the culinary program through the acquisition of a fully equipped Food Truck, giving students access to modern, real-world culinary experiences that extend learning beyond the classroom. Additionally, her dedication to community collaboration is evident in her work with local construction and trades partners to connect students with authentic skills, mentorship, and career pathways.
Beyond CTE, Trina serves as Federal Programs and Grants Director for Wiilliams Unified School District. She is currently leading a transformative $3 million WIFA Grant project, guiding the district’s efforts to convert five athletic ball fields to artificial turf—an initiative that will benefit students and the community for years to come.
Trina’s vision, energy, and unwavering dedication continue to elevate CTE and student opportunity throughout Williams Unified School District.
Nominated by Eric Evans, Superintendent, Williams Unified School District.
