I am Adjunct Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Electronics at the Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES), Brazil. In this moment, I  am in the position of Coordinator of the Computer Engineering Course at CEUNES/UFES. I teach classes for the courses of  Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Petroleum Engineering. I hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering from UFES and my research interests are mainly related to brain-computer interfaces for people with severe paralysis and the development of assistive technologies and emotion recognition to improve human-computer interaction..
