Huckleberry Tutoring only employs certified teachers, so you can be sure that your child is receiving the most up-to-date, research based content. Our teachers are from a variety of schools and counties, to offer a broad range of content knowledge. We make sure to pair teachers with classes that fit their certification, so they are aware of grade level expectations and ability.

Families will be invited to join a google classroom, where students can access a link to a virtual meeting, and the session materials. Most materials are created in google slides, and presented to students through an interactive site. Katie, and her husband, Matt, are both Google Certified, and will be happy to help you navigate the Google world. Students will be expected to have a computer with a camera, and reliable internet. A touchscreen would be great, but isn't required..

Tutoring sessions include reading, math, or science.. Sessions may include up to five students, to promote discussion and collaboration. When students discuss their understandings (and misunderstandings) with same age peers, they retain more information and become more confident in their abilities. Through my teaching experience, I have seen students' performance increase tremendously through socialization and collaboration. When students learn together, they grow together!

1 group class per week: $100/month (Average of $23 per class)

2 group classes per week: $190/month (5% discount per class)

3 group classes per week: $270/month (10% discount per class)

Venmo, Zelle, and Apple Pay are all accepted forms of payment.

Payment is required at the beginning of the month to reserve your child's spot in the class. Sessions are first-come first-served, up to 5 students, to allow for best interaction and instruction.

As we gain students, we add new classes to accommodate small group sizes. Please email, or check back, to see if other class times are available. *List updated November 1, 2022
