Overview
Acompa ("the App") is a companion client for your personal Music Assistant server. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and what we do — and do not — collect.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
Acompa does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data with the developer or any third party.
Specifically, the App does not:
• Track your location
• Use advertising identifiers (IDFA)
• Include analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
• Send any data to the developer's servers
• Share any information with third parties
2. Communication with Your Music Assistant Server
All network communication happens directly and exclusively between the App and your own Music Assistant server on your local network or via a URL you configure. This includes:
• Authenticating with your server using a token
• Browsing your personal music library (artists, albums, tracks, playlists, podcasts, audiobooks, radio stations)
• Controlling media playback and players
• Searching your library
The developer has no access to your server, its contents, or any data exchanged between the App and your server.
3. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics platforms, or social media tools.
4. Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes in the future, the updated policy will be posted within the App and on the App Store listing with a revised "Last updated" date.
