There are many different hotels nearby as well as closer to the city center. Here are our suggestions:
Close to the University Campus:
Close to the city center we recommend airbnbs, hotels or apartment hotels in the districts: Kazimierz (Jewish Quarter) or Stare Miasto (Old Town). These are the most popular districts in Krakow and are well-connected with the UJ Campus via tram.
Public transportation in Kraków
The easiest way to get around in Kraków using public transportation is by tram. The station to get off at for the UJ Campus, Mathematics department is called "Norymberska". The tram lines connecting the campus to the city center are 73 and 52. To buy tickets and check tram schedules we recommend using the application https://jakdojade.pl/.
One may also rent a scooter at various points in the city. This is nice option in the summer (however usually the tram is cheaper). The most popular companies are Blinkee, Bolt, Bird and Lime.
Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be held at the Browar Lubicz:
Browar Lubicz
ul. Lubicz 17 J,
31-503 Kraków
at 19:00 on Thursday the 14th of July.
Located at a one-minute walking distance from the tram stop “Lubicz”, reachable with the tram lines 2, 4, 10, 14, 20, 44, 52, 64.
The line 52 goes directly from Norymberska (the station closest to the conference venue) to Lubicz. The plan is to all take the tram together after the last lecture.
