1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using AcneX ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. The App provides skincare routines, educational content, AI-assisted skin and product analysis, and habit coaching - not medical advice.
2. Use License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:
• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Use the App for any commercial purpose without our permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Remove any copyright or proprietary notices
3. Subscription Terms
If you purchase a subscription to AcneX Premium:
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your device's App Store settings.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Refunds are handled according to the policies of the App Store.
4. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with others' use of it.
5. Skin Analysis and Content
Cosmetic and informational use only: Skin scores, scan results, product analysis, routines, and educational content in the App are AI-generated cosmetic estimates of appearance and general information only. They are not a medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice, and the App is not a medical device.
• Skin scores and analysis are approximate and can be affected by lighting, camera quality, and other factors.
• Always patch-test new products and review their ingredient labels before use.
• If you have a skin condition, allergy, or other medical concern, consult a dermatologist or qualified professional before relying on any recommendation in the App.
6. Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. You can use core features without an account; in that case, most of your data stays on your device. When you run a skin or product scan, the photo is sent to a third-party AI provider for analysis. If you create an account, we sync your scores and data to the cloud so you can access them across devices. Please review our Privacy Policy for how we collect, use, and protect your information.
7. Accuracy of Information
Skin analysis and product information are generated by AI and may be incomplete or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any result or recommendation. You use the App and its analysis at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AcneX and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of data or profit) arising from your use or inability to use the App. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We are not liable for any outcomes resulting from following recommendations or using products, including skin irritation or allergic reactions.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
