We are pleased to announce the workshop on Cross-Cultural Facial Expression Recognition (CCFER), which aims to foster research on understanding and interpreting facial expressions across diverse cultures, challenging the widely held assumption of universal emotion recognition. This workshop will serve as a forum to discuss the cultural nuances in facial expression interpretation and methodologies for building more context-aware and reliable emotion recognition systems.

We hold the kick-off meeting on 24.03.2024.  The EU officer introduced the MSCA staff exchanges project.  Partners from Finland, France, UK,  Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia have reported their researches and discussed the future secondments and plans.
